UPDATE - REOPENED: I-20 westbound at mile marker 53, Webster Parish
UPDATE (10/14/2020 1:45PM): DOTD advises motorists that ALL lanes of I-20 westbound at mile marker 53 in Webster Parish are now open. Please travel safely.

UPDATE (10/14/2020 12:30PM): DOTD advises motorists that one lane of I-20 westbound at mile marker 53 in Webster Parish near the Bienville Parish line has been reopened following a crash involving an 18-wheeler.
Please continue to drive with caution through the area and expect congestion while emergency crews work to clear the crash.

UPDATE (10/14/2020 8:15AM): DOTD advises motorists that both lanes of I-20 westbound are shut down at the Ada-Taylor Exit (Exit 55) in Bienville Parish due to a crash involving an 18-wheeler that occurred in Webster Parish near the Bienville Parish line.
Emergency personnel are on scene working to remove the vehicle from the median. DOTD crews are assisting in the interstate closure.
Westbound traffic on I-20 is being detoured to US 80.
Please travel with caution and expect possible congestion in the area. DOTD will issue a notification when the interstate has been reopened.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there is currently an emergency lane closure in the westbound direction of I-20 at mile marker 53 in Webster Parish near the Bienville Parish line due to a crash involving an 18-wheeler.
Emergency personnel are on scene working to remove the vehicle from the median.
