I-10 WB at Exit 103B (I-49/US 167 North), Lafayette Parish, Intermittent Ramp Closure
Thursday, August 06, 2020 at 3:41:38 PM
The off ramp of I-10 westbound at Exit 103B (I-49/US 167 North) will be closed intermittently beginning Monday, August 10 at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, August 11 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow the contractor to move temporary barriers and re-stripe the ramp.

The detour for traffic is to continue on I-10 westbound to Exit 101 - LA 182 (North University Avenue), then I-10 eastbound to Exit 103B (I-49/US 167 North).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in September 2020.
