Plenary Infrastructure launches Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel P3 website; website now accepting input for bridge design elements

BATON ROUGE - Plenary Infrastructure is pleased to announce the launch of the Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Project website http://www.bellechassebridge.com/ for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development’s (DOTD) first public-private partnership (P3) initiative.
This website will serve as the hub for disseminating project information and will be actively maintained throughout the duration of this effort. Citizens can visit the website to sign up for future project updates and announcements.
The website lists all the project partners and the respective roles they play in the construction and operation phases of the project. It also provides general information about what a P3 is and provides examples of P3 projects that Plenary has implemented in other cities across the country.
There is also a page dedicated to providing a comprehensive description of tolling procedures, including an image of the tolling lanes.
We encourage citizens to visit the Public Input page, where they can provide feedback on the aesthetic features of the bridge and the associated park. We will use public feedback on the color schemes of the bridge, bridge column artwork and the overall design of the relocated Veterans Park and its walking paths in our final decision-making for these amenities. Currently, the public can submit their input on the aesthetics of the project through the public input page on the website.
A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page is populated with questions that have been received throughout the introductory phase of the project. The FAQs will receive regular updates as the project team continues to engage with elected officials, parish officials, stakeholders, and members of the community.
