DOTD announces upcoming I-10 closure in Orleans Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a full closure of I-10 from Louisa Street to US 90 (Chef Menteur Highway) from 10:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2020 until 8:00 AM Sunday, May 3, 2020.

The eastbound and westbound closure is necessary for crews to perform emergency sign work.

Alternate Route: US 90 (Chef Menteur Highway)

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction/maintenance site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Motorists can access the latest updates on real-time traffic and road conditions using the 511 Traveler Information System by dialing 511 from their telephone and saying the route or region on which they are seeking information.
