UPDATE - NIGHTLY LANE CLOSURES: I-20 eastbound & westbound at LA 532, Webster Parish


UPDATE: Beginning on Monday, June 15, 2020, motorists are advised that intermittent nightly closures will resume on I-20 eastbound and westbound at the LA 532 overpass in Webster Parish. Traffic will be diverted to the on and off-ramps at LA 532 and back to I-20.

This traffic configuration will occur intermittently at night as required throughout the duration of the project in order to allow work to safely and efficiently progress on the construction of the new LA 532 overpass.

These closures are related to a project to replace the LA 532 overpass.

UPDATE
: On the night of Thursday, April 30, 2020, the eastbound lanes of I-20 at the LA 532 overpass in Webster Parish will be closed and traffic will be diverted to the on and off-ramps at LA 532 and back to I-20.

This traffic configuration will occur intermittently at night as required throughout duration of the project in order to allow work to safely and efficiently progress on the construction of the new LA 532 overpass.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, April 27, 2020, intermittent nightly lane closures on I-20 eastbound and westbound at the LA 532 overpass in Webster Parish will continue.

These lane closures are scheduled to take place between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., last for approximately five (5) nights, and are related to the project to replace the LA 532 overpass over I-20.

These nightly lane closures are necessary to allow crews to continue construction of the bridge substructure for the new overpass.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
