UPDATE - REOPENED: US 80 (E. Texas St.) at Airline Drive, Bossier Parish
UPDATE: The repairs are complete and this lane has been REOPENED.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that emergency lane closures are in place on US 80 (E. Texas Street) at its intersection with LA 3105 (Airline Drive) in Bossier City.
The eastbound right turn lane and the adjacent eastbound thru lane on US 80 are currently closed following the development of a void that caused a portion of the roadway to collapse.
DOTD crews, along with the City of Bossier and its contractor, are on site working to determine the cause of the void, and to move forward with the appropriate repairs.
DOTD appreciates the public’s patience as this work continues, and will issue a notification when repairs are complete and the roadway has been reopened.
Please be mindful of crews and their equipment that are on site, avoid distracted driving, and obey posted speed limits.
