UPDATE - ROAD CLOSURE: US 80 westbound over Boone Creek near Dixie Inn, Webster Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2019, the US 80 westbound bridge over Boone Creek, near Dixie Inn, in Webster Parish will be closed for eight (8) weeks for a bridge replacement.
This bridge is located approximately 2.42 miles west of US 371. The eastbound direction will remain open.
Alternate route: This closure will allow local traffic only. No through traffic will be permitted through the closure. ALL other westbound vehicles must detour using I-20 and Goodwill Road.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
