RAMP CLOSURES: I-20 westbound off-ramps at Spring/Market & Common St. in Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2019, the Spring/Market Street off-ramp (Exit 19A) from I-20 westbound in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed to allow the contractor to make repairs to the crash attenuator.
Additionally, the Common Street/Louisiana Ave. off-ramp (Exit 18D) from I-20 westbound will be closed for crash attenuator repair.
These ramps are scheduled to be reopened by 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.
A crash attenuator, also known as an impact attenuator, is a device intended to reduce the damage to structures, vehicles, and lessen injuries to motorists resulting from a collision. These devices are designed to absorb the colliding vehicle's energy.
