UPDATE - EMERGENCY LANE CLOSURE: LA 1 in Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Monday, June 3rd through Friday June 7th, 2019, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., LA 1 from Robinson Road to Yearwood Road in south Caddo Parish will be reduced to one lane for Union Pacific Railroad crews to continue clean-up operations following a train derailment that occurred on Tuesday, May 7th.

Flagging operations will be in effect to allow traffic through the area.

DOTD appreciates your patience as Union Pacific's emergency response crews work on removing train cars and debris from the tracks adjacent to the roadway.

DOTD reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
