UPDATE - REOPENED: US 84 Business in Mansfield, DeSoto Parish
UPDATE: US 84 Business at the intersection of McEnery Street in Mansfield, DeSoto Parish has been REOPENED.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that US 84 Business at McEnery Street in Mansfield, DeSoto Parish is CLOSED, effective immediately, due to non-DOTD related excavation activities that have caused a strain pole holding up a traffic signal at this intersection to lean.
The pole is stabilized, and DOTD crews are assessing the situation and any repairs that may be necessary.
DOTD will advise when the roadway has been reopened.
