DOTD announces alternating I-10 North Service Road lane closures in Jefferson Parish

Jefferson Parish– The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces lane closures for a $1.8 million project to complete asphalt paving on the I-10 North Service Road from Williams Boulevard to the Orleans Parish Line. Beginning Monday, May 13, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, the westbound and eastbound lanes will have alternating lane closures weekly.

The contractor, Boh Bros. Construction Co., is estimated to complete this project fall 2019. All construction activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

DOTD appreciates the motoring public’s patience and reminds drivers to please exercise caution when traveling through work zone areas and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking or biking near an active work zone.
