GeauxPass no longer accepting payments via automated phone system

Baton Rouge, LA – Today, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that the GeauxPass customer service center is no longer providing the option to make payments through the automated phone system beginning today, May 1. This is due to programming upgrades to the system.

Motorists using GeauxPass may make payments in person, through mail, or to a customer service representative over the telephone. Customers will also be able to continue paying violations and adding funds through their online accounts. Additionally, motorists not using GeauxPass may pay the toll collector on the LA 1 Expressway.

The GeauxPass customer service center is located at 1821 South Alex Plaisance Blvd. (LA 3235) in Golden Meadow. Accepted payment methods are cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express), or debit cards. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The GeauxPass mailing address is P.O. Box 786, Golden Meadow, LA 70357-0786. Customer service may be reached via telephone at 866-662-8987.

Motorists can access the latest updates on real-time traffic and road conditions using the 511 Traveler Information System by dialing 511 from their telephone and saying the route or region on which they are seeking information. Out-of-state travelers can call 1-888-ROAD-511 (1-888-762-3511). Travelers can also access this information by visiting the 511 Traveler Information Web site at www.511la.org.
