UPDATE - INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES: I-49 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, May 6, 2019, there will be intermittent nightly lane closures on I-49 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish at the following locations:
  • I-49 southbound over Kings Highway
  • I-49 northbound over Kings Highway
  • I-49 northbound over St. Vincent Avenue
  • I-49 southbound over KCS Railroad
  • I-49 northbound over LA 526 (Bert Kouns Industrial Loop)
  • I-49 southbound over LA 526 (Bert Kouns Industrial Loop)
These lane closures are scheduled to take place from approximately 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. They are related to an ongoing project to repair joints on the bridge decks of I-20 in Caddo, Bienville and Webster Parishes, as well as I-49 in Caddo Parish.

Please note that daytime lane closures will be allowed on weekends. This work is expected to last approximately three (3) weeks.
