EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE: LA 526 (W. Bert Kouns Ind. Loop), Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Shreveport Police Department has initiated a full closure of LA 526 (W. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop) between LA 511 (W. 70th Street) and Buncombe Road in Caddo Parish due to a fire at an industrial plant housing hazardous materials.

This closure will remain in place until further notice as emergency personnel responds to the fire.

Shreveport Police Dept. is handling the road closure and traffic management, while DOTD has responded to assist with additional traffic control devices.
