DOTD announces public meeting for US 165 pedestrian study in Ouachita Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a public meeting for a comprehensive pedestrian study along the US 165 corridor in the Town of Richwood, Ouachita Parish.

The purpose of the study is to analyze and propose various alternatives for pedestrian movements along US 165 near the Ollie Burns Public Library branch and Richwood Junior High and High School.

The public meeting will be held in order to provide updates on the current US 165 Stage 0 feasibility study, as well as gather input from the public regarding pedestrian improvements to the corridor.

The meeting will be held in an open-house format where attendees may come and go during the two hour time frame, provide written or verbal comment, and have their questions answered by representatives of DOTD.
