CANCELED - INTERSTATE CLOSURE: I-20 eastbound at Texas state line in Caddo Parish

Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Sunday, November 4, 2018, I-20 eastbound will be closed from the Texas state line to Mile Marker 2 in Caddo Parish in order to perform shoulder repairs and enhance safety within the construction zone.
This closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., and is associated with the ongoing construction project to overlay I-20 in both directions from the Texas state line to just east of Monkhouse Drive in Shreveport.
DOTD would like to remind motorists that lane closures are still in effect on the interstate in the construction area near the Texas state line, and to expect some delays during peak travel times during the day. It is imperative that motorists pay attention to advanced warning signs ahead of road work and approach the area with caution.
Alternate route: Total road closure. ALL vehicles will be detoured to US 80.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
