INTERSTATE CLOSURE – I-220 eastbound & westbound in Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, July 14, 2018 and Sunday, July 15, 2018, I-220 eastbound and westbound from LA 1 (North Market St) to LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III Ave) in Caddo Parish will be closed.
The closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each day.
The complete interstate closure is necessary for the contractor to complete roadwork and related activities as part of the I-49 Segment K2 project that is currently under construction in Shreveport.
Alternate Route:
I-220 eastbound detour: ALL traffic will be diverted off at Exit 5. Detour will be LA 173 to LA 3094 to LA 1 to I-220
I-220 westbound detour: ALL traffic will be diverted off at Exit 7A. Detour will be LA 1 to LA 3094 to LA 173 to I-220.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
