The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the southbound lane on LA 319 (Cypremort Point Road) on the Louisa Bridge, between LA 83 (Weeks Island Road) and Hazel Lane, will be closed on Thursday, March 15, for routine bridge inspection.

This closure is estimated to take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.

Two way traffic will be maintained utilizing a flagging operation.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 16 foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
