Traffic Alert - State Route 24 closed at U.S. 61 in Wilkinson County.
UPDATE – 1:00 p.m.
Traffic on U.S. Highway 61 near Woodville in Wilkinson County has been restored. However, all lanes of State Route 24 west of U.S. Highway 61 are closed to traffic while first responders continue to clear the area of hazardous materials.
State Route 24 will remain closed in this location until first responders have cleared the area. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes around this area.
