St. Mary Parish – US 90 Eastbound @ LA 318 – Lane Closure

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that beginning Wednesday, October 18 through Friday, October 20, the eastbound left lane of US 90 @ LA 318 will be closed to remove temporary concrete barriers.
This work is estimated to take place nightly from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
DOTD apologizes for any inconvenience to the traveling public and encourages motorists to lookout for crews and their equipment.
As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $56 million design-build project that involves upgrading the existing U.S. 90 and La. 318 signalized intersection to a full control of access, grade-separated interchange including the reconstruction of the U.S. 90 frontage roads to provide local access to La. 318. Construction began in March 2016, and is estimated for completion in fall 2017.
