Phase I (Bridge Removal and Replacement)

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that LA 91 (West Maple Avenue) east of LA 757 (Bobcat Drive) in Eunice is closed for the removal and replacement of the existing bridge.

This closure has been in place since January 16, 2017. Reconstruction of the Intersection at LA 91 (West Maple Avenue) and LA 757 (Bobcat Drive) will begin following the completion of Phase 1 (May 30, 2017).

Traffic is currently being detoured to LA 13 and US 190 until May 30, 2017. The detour is posted.

Phase II (Intersection Reconstruction and Completion of Bridge Replacement)

Beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2017, the closure will be extended west of LA 757; thus, closing the intersection of LA 91 (West Maple Avenue) and LA 757 (Bobcat Drive).

This Phase II closure is scheduled to take place until August 30, 2017, weather permitting.

During Phase II, traffic will be detoured to US 190, LA 13, LA 755 and LA 368. The detour will be posted.
