DOTD announces opening of new Millerville Road on-ramp on I-12

BATON ROUGE- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that a new Interstate 12 westbound on-ramp for southbound Millerville Road traffic will open on Tuesday, July 19.

DOTD will be closing the Millerville Road left turning lane to southbound traffic entering onto I-12 West. The new on-ramp will be on the right. Northbound traffic will continue to exit right to enter onto I-12.

DOTD encourages motorists to be alert and pay attention to the new configuration when traveling.

Motorists can access the latest updates on real-time traffic and road conditions using the 511 Traveler Information System by dialing 511 from their telephone and saying the route or region on which they are seeking information. Out-of-state travelers can call 1-888-ROAD-511 (1-888-762-3511). Travelers can also access this information by visiting the 511 Traveler Information website, www.511la.org.
